Multicentre Respiratory Trial
With the highly successful pilot study now complete, Professor Cooper has volunteered to be lead investigator in a multicenter clinical trial on the "Effect of Fenzian™ Treatment on symptoms, pulmonary function and Albuterol use in patients with mild persistent asthma: A multicenter, sham-controlled clinical trial"
With the completion of the protocol, the expectation is to begin the process of recruiting patients towards the end of 2008 at six internationally renowned centers.
The Fenzian™ Treatment System is registered with the FDA under the 510(k) classification for biofeedback and the treatment of pain. The Pilot study abstract has allowed Eumedic Limited to sponsor a Multicentre Clinical Trial but does not in any way indicate that that The Fenzian™ Treatment System is a treatment for asthma. Any advertising by Fenzian practitioners to treat patients for Asthma is "off label" and is therefore expressly forbidden.
Manchester University
